Talk at FrontFest 2018 – "Improving as Developers"
A few weeks ago I traveled to Madrid to speak at FrontFest 2018 about how we can improve as developers in an ever-changing environment like front-end.
In the talk I cover three main areas:
- Myths and beliefs that are holding us back
- How we can increase our performance and learn effectively
- How to contribute to make our team better
Things that are mentioned: open source, burnout, deliberate practice for learning, JavaScript fatigue, etc.
It was quite hard to prepare and deliver this talk –usually my talks are about a demo/project I made, and this was different–, but I am happy it was well received and could help some folks :)
